Ah, the shippery goodness of 'Power Rangers'...

Really, folks. When you have bad writing, it shows up in your work in... unusual ways. In Power Rangers Megaforce, it shows up when you try to establish a friendship between teh two female characters, and what you get is something where even little kids say 'Oh, so they're together...'

I present to you, the unintended shippery goodness of the Gia/Emma ship - 'Giemma'.. TPTB really screwed up when they made the fifth episode, United We Stand.

The funny thing about this? They're actually a better couple than the 'approved' ships the show is trying to create.

Message of the day - and yes, we've all done this in our own writing before - either plan ahead better, or just say 'screw it, just throw it in and let's run with it.'  You might just accidentally do the right thing, something people watching will applaud you for.

Not understanding the GOP dichotomy...

...of loving Christ and the church, and hating everything that he wanted men of God to do - like
help the downtrodden.

I understand that in order to help others, it would be good to be in a position where you can help as much as you can - but the "Fuck you, Jack, I'm alright" mindset...

I just don't get it.
