If you are willing to work in Iqualuit...all kidding aside, for the less populated provinces there is something called the "provincial nominee program" which might help things along.
Still, worth looking into, if only for humo(u)r's sake.
She almost ruined Sin City for me. Calling her line readings there wooden is a slander to the expressive qualities of wood. But in the end, the visuals and Bruce Willis as the harder-than-hard-boiled Hartigan made it work.

What? Eric, can't you picture her as a scientist? Casting producers can, but that really doesn't say much for them.
